Why the writing is better
Most companion platforms tune their characters to be maximally pleasant, which is why they all start to sound the same after a fortnight. Kupid's characters are tuned closer to fiction: they have wants that aren't you, they get irritated, and they occasionally refuse things.
That's the whole pitch, and whether it's worth it depends entirely on what you want. If you want unconditional affection, this will feel like hard work. If you want a scene that goes somewhere, nothing else in this index writes as well.
